Formation and early years (19851987)

Dream Theater was in September 1985 when guitarist John Petrucci and bassist John Myung decided to form a band in their spare time, while studying at Berklee College of Music. Mike Portnoy started an official bootlegs series in response to Dream Theater fans affinity 'For live versions of concert them.
