A Prozac worked for your anxiety / depression or Panic Attacks? Can it lead to mental illness worse?

I suffer from anxiety and depression and I'm always on the verge of having a panic attack. I wonder if Prozac would be useful if you can take and stop taking it to the end without needing more. I fear that in the long term it can lead to other mental illnesses like schizophrenia. However, I always try to find a medical cause for my anxiety and depression such as thyroid, adrenals, or inner ear problems.

Prozac side effects very very dangerous, I would not use that as a last resort. When you go to http://pi.lilly.com/us/prozac.pdf?reqNavId=undefined and look at what the drug manufacturers have to list on its effects. I think you consider other options real quick. So with that said. I want to emphasize the cause of your anxiety and depression. Essential fatty acids (EFA) deficiency has been linked to depression. People who do not have enough acid Omega-3 fatty or not maintain a healthy balance of omega-3 fatty acids omega-6 in the diet may be at an increased risk of depression. The omega-3 fatty acids are important components of nerve cell membranes. They help nerve cells communicate with each other, which is an essential step in maintaining healthy mental health. In particular, DHA is involved in a variety of processes of nerve cells. Levels of omega-3 were considered not measurable and the ratio of omega-6 to omega-3, were particularly high in a study clinic patients hospitalized for depression. In a clinical study of people with depression, those who ate a healthy diet containing fish fat 2-3 times a week for 5 years showed a significant reduction in feelings of depression and hostility. When the researchers followed the patterns food in the country, they found that fish consumption is, depression rates go down. In fact, there was a difference of sixty times in the rates of depression between countries in the highest (Japan and Taiwan) to the lowest (North America, Europe and New Zealand) omega-3 fat consumption. Same decreases post-partum depression that women increase their consumption of fish. Many people report a decline in mood when they change too quickly to a diet low in fat. Anxiety and depression is a complex problem, too detailed for a quick answer on here … but a disease or condition is associated with a vitamin, mineral or other nutritional deficiencies. Address the first question, do research, and see what happens. Good luck …
